My Family and I just Moved To AZ From TX and we were looking to find a good place to go for dinner with the whole family and we have found it! 3 Margaritas The food was excelent and the portions were very generous. The service was great, our waiter was very friendly, the food preparation was very fast and the restaurant was clean. I would Recomend This restaurant to any one whos looking for good prices, good food and good service.

Service is NOT on the menu

Stopped in this eveing to get some dinner, and to try out this place. The restaurant is fairly new in this location. When we came in we were greeted promptly and seated right away. The restaurant was not very busy, and we saw that there was a large ratio of staff to guest. Right after being seated, we were given chips, salsa and bean dip, and then we waited... and waited... and waited. We watched three other waiters walk through the section, one even serving tables on both sides of us. Finally, after waiting more than 15 minutes with not so much as an hello from a server, I went and asked for one. Shortly, a server appeared, and we ordered. The kitchen was apparently far more efficient than the front of the house, because our food arrived shortly after - by the same person who brought us chips etc when were were seated, not out server. We were asked if there was anything else and we asked for more salsa and some napkins. Again, we waited, and the server appeared and asked if everything was ok. We asked again for salsa and napkins. They finally arrived. We ate our meal, which was really pretty good. Not once did our server reappear to replentish drinks. When he did come back, and took our plates, we still were not offered another drink. At that point I simply asked for the check. This experience was a real shame, since the food was actually quite good. We would not return based on the service alone. I work in a service industry, and my partner is a chef. Our experience did not leave us wanting to return.

Good ambience - marginal food

the ambiance at Margarita's is a wannabe Mexican. But they have done a good job. The food is not bad. Good deal for the $$ u spend. Get a pitcher of sangria (the margarita's are too watered down) eat the chips and salsa and wait forever for the order to come by. One interesting part is - each time I have been there (almost 10 times), I barely see more than 10/15 people for a place which can hold 200 people at least. I guess bad timing or does that mean something else???

Suffice to say when you order carnitas (braised, seasond pork) you will recieve beef. beef!? and if you want an expediant experiance (your done and need the check) be prepaired to relax and digest your meal in there wonderfull atmosphere before you are asked if you are done. I have to say that 3 margaritas is what you have to have in order to belive this is a great resteraunt to return to. we weren't exactly overwhelmingly successful in our quest for the best margarita at this first stop--we definitely feel a need to continue our search. Three Margaritass margarita offerings were overpriced and undersized and not terribly satisfying taste-wise. BUT, we did have an a very pleasant overall dining experience.

Different main dishes

The food was unusual in the combinations but proved to be very good.
